Make sure that cookies are enabled on your browser. You need to enable Per-session cookies to work with the GolfGigs. These cookies last for the duration of your user session, but are not stored permanently on your hard drive. No passwords are stored in cookies.
Internet Explorer for PC:
From inside the IE window:
1.
Go to View, then click on Internet Options.
2.
Click on the Security tab.
3.
Check "Custom" and click Settings.
Scroll to Cookies.
4.
Under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer", you can check either "Enable," "Prompt" or "Disable". This type of cookie is not required to use GolfGigs.
5.
Under "Allow per session cookies (not stored)," check "Allow per session cookies." This is required to be able to log into GolfGigs.
Internet Explorer 4.5 for Mac:
1. Go to Edit, then click on Preferences
2. In the left pane, click on Receiving Files, then click on Cookies.
3. In the right pane, use the pull down "When receiving cookies" and choose "never ask," "ask for each site," or "ask for each cookie."
4. Click on OK to save.
Netscape 4.x for PC:
From inside the Netscape window:
1. Go to Edit, then click on Preferences.
2. On the left pane, click on Advanced, then on the right, check "accept all cookies" or "accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server".
3. Click OK to save.
Netscape 3.x for PC (Note: Navigator 3.0x and 2.0x don't have an option to disable the setting of cookies globally. It is a feature added to version 4.x.):
1.
Go to the Options menu and choose Network Preferences, Protocols
2. Check the option to "show alert before accepting cookies."

Netscape 4.x for Mac:
1. Go to Edit, then click on Preferences.
2. Click on Advanced in the left panel
3. Check "Accept all cookies" in the right pane.
4. Click OK to save.
Enabling cookies on Internet Explorer/AOL
(note: AOL software uses the Microsoft Internet Explorer as its default browser):
1.
Click on Start from your Windows 95/98 taskbar.
2.
Select Settings.
3.
Click on Control Panel.
4.
Click on the Internet icon. The Internet Properties window should appear.
5.
Click on the Advanced tab
6.
Scroll down until you see the cookies icon. For GolfGigs, choose either "prompt before accepting cookies" or "always accept cookies."
7.
Once you have selected a cookie preference, click on the Apply button.
8.
Click OK.
AOL for Mac:
1. Go to My AOL, then click on Preferences
2. Click on WWW.
3. Go to Advanced Settings. In the left pane, click on Receiving Files, then in the right pane, click on Cookies, and choose "Never Ask" or "Ask".
